E-Commerce Multi-Accounting — The 2026 Playbook

E-commerce platforms have aggressive multi-account detection, but it's mostly IP-layer and behavioural rather than fingerprint. Anti-detect alone doesn't fix bad IP hygiene.

The stack

1. Anti-detect browser — Afina or Multilogin. Quality matters, but coverage of basic surfaces is enough.
2. Residential proxies — tier-1, one IP per account, sticky 30–60 min. See proxy guide.
3. Real warming — 2–4 weeks of light browsing per account before any selling.
4. Behavioural humaniser — mouse, scroll, typing variation. Afina's Scenarios covers this.
5. Payment separation — one payment method per account. This is the single most common ban cause.

Per-platform notes

Amazon

• Account-per-IP-per-payment-method. Strict.
• 4–6 weeks of warming preferred before any listing
• Avoid bulk listing in first month
• USA-IP-only for Amazon US selling

eBay

• More forgiving than Amazon
• Still requires per-account-per-IP discipline
• PayPal historical match matters

Etsy

• Less aggressive
• Stripe payment processor has its own anti-fraud, runs separately
• Etsy is more forgiving on country mismatches

What gets you banned

• Same IP across multiple accounts (top cause)
• Same payment method
• Cookie reuse (don't manually copy cookies)
• Inhuman behaviour (instant page nav, no scroll, no mouse movement)
• Same shipping address (obvious)
• Same content / images (fingerprintable image hashes)

What doesn't matter much

• Browser fingerprint quality past basic coverage (e-com platforms aren't bleeding-edge on this)
• TLS JA3 (rarely checked on e-com)
• Whether you use Afina, Dolphin, or AdsPower — IP and behaviour matter more

Bottom line

E-com is an IP + behavioural game. Get those right, pair with any credible anti-detect, and the engine details barely matter. The reverse — premium anti-detect + cheap shared proxy — gets you banned in week one.
